The balloon flight on Thursday evening was truly spectacular! I have been attempting to take a balloon ride for many years, and all good things came together Thursday to capture a truly splendid and memorable flight. The pilot was knowledgeable, gregarious and a great partner to share this awesome experience. I was able to take lovely photographs, talk with the pilot, wave to well-wishers on the ground and just experience a "heavenly" flight. Even though my husband did not want to join me, he was able to be a part of the festivities by taking part in the "chase." The evening experience closed where it had been initiated with a lovely champagne toast, nibbles and a souvenir champagne bottle autographed in gold. I am looking forward to another sojourn, and I anticipate an equally exquisite time. Thank you "Magic Carpet Ride" for an absolutely incredible adventure! I will join you again for another exciting escapade.  Again, I thank you for a most memorable evening of serene bliss.
